Save money and use less trash bags. I try to flatten boxes that cereal, cake mix, crackers etc.comes in. This way I can get more trash in the trash bag before it needs replaced. Small cans can fit inside . . . more

Organize loose buttons by stringing them on twist ties, then simply twist the ties to prevent them from falling off.

If a recipe calls for softened butter and your butter is hard, you can grate it. The grated pieces will blend into the recipe batter easily.
